Community Rules
Have fun. Remember the person.
Anything can be an ad. That does not mean anything goes between people. These rules explain how the Terms apply inside the community.
- 1
Remember the person behind the screen
Critique ideas and creative work as sharply as you like. Do not harass, threaten, target, or attack people for who they are.
- 2
Make with material you can use
Do not take music, footage, images, likenesses, or private information without a valid basis. We may hide disputed work while a rights report is reviewed.
- 3
If it is unofficial, keep it unofficial
Do not dress a fan ad up as a real campaign or invent approval, sponsorship, or testimonials. Use the disclosure labels when money or free products are involved.
- 4
Do not turn the ad community into an ad dump
Creative ads are welcome. Repeated product links, irrelevant promotion, flooding, phishing, and mass solicitation are spam.
- 5
Earn the applause
Do not use bots, sockpuppets, trades, or payment to manipulate likes, summons, comments, or views.
- 6
Keep private things private
Do not expose or threaten to expose addresses, contact details, identity documents, private messages, or intimate media shared without consent.
- 7
We stop real-world harm
Illegal transactions, malware, encouragement of self-harm or violence, and sexual exploitation of minors may be restricted immediately.
What happens when a rule is broken
Depending on context, we may add a label, limit distribution, remove content, restrict a feature, or suspend an account. Unless safety or law prevents it, we try to explain the reason and accept a request for review.
Found a problem?
Use the Report button on an ad. Questions about an account or a moderation decision can be sent to Support.
